Join the Clark Man and the hundreds of dedicated professionals at Clark Pest Control as they celebrate National Pest Management Month this April.
This annual observance by the National Pest Management Association acknowledges not only Clark Pest Control’s commitment to the protection of public health, food, and property from common pest threats, but the dedication of thousands of individuals across the country who fight the good fight against unwanted and potentially harmful pests.
Recent industry research has shown more than 80 percent of homeowners feel that pest control companies provide a valuable service, and more than 75 percent feel that pest professionals are guardians of public health.
Protecting public health is an important task, because some of the pests that people come in contact with regularly are a public health concern, and severely can compromise their quality of life.
Rodents and cockroaches, for example, can contaminate food, spread disease, and exacerbate allergy and asthma symptoms, while backyard pests like ticks and mosquitoes spread diseases like Lyme disease, West Nile virus and Zika virus.
What else did consumers have to say about the professional pest management services that the Clark Man and his peers provide to homes across the country?
Spring is the prime season that pests emerge, given the warmer weather, so it’s important to pest proof your home to keep those unwanted crawling or flying visitors out.
In honor of National Pest Control Month, the Clark Man recommends the following spring pest prevention tips:
